Of course everything’s been running a little too smoothly this past week, so I decided to spice things up a bit and create some havoc. Today as we were moving my year old bed to my Dad’s house (because no one ever responded to my Craigslist posting), we ran into a slight issue. Here’s a map of the route we needed to take…

1. We stopped here (right before crossing the Newburgh-Beacon bridge) so we could strap the bed down because the wind was blowing harder.

And THAT boys and girls is why you should always take a few extra minutes to strap down the items that you’re moving. Luckily the only thing that broke were those cross bars that support the box spring. But they’ll be easily replaceable. Let’s hope this is the only bad thing that happens to me during this trip…
